The historic hotel with the best food in town
The Commercial Hotel is a nostalgic experience, like staying in a grand old country house as a guest of the family. The hotel  was established in 1861 and is one of the most historic buildings in the area. In 1865, bushranger Ben Hall, Johnny Gilbert and John Dunn stole two of publican John Dillon's horses. The hotel's dining room (built in 1868) and guest rooms (built 1892 & 1924) have been repainted in the cream and brown colour scheme of 1924..

The Commercial Hotel offers the most imaginative and freshest food in town, warm hospitality and is ideal for a relaxing weekend for a couple or group. Rest, explore the country, play sport, enjoy a meal of fresh local ingredients with local wines and meet old and new friends.

The calm, welcoming bar serves 6 beer on tap, 20 bottled beers, local red and white Hilltops wines, spirits, soft drinks, tea & coffee. The regulars are friendly and like to chat. The hotel is non-smoking, quiet, relaxed and has no gambling.  For more information, click here.
