Open for lunch or cake and coffee seven days, dinner Monday to Saturday.

The Commercial Hotel's Restaurant was originally built in 1868. Two dining rooms offer privacy for small functions and are warmed by open log fires in winter.

Complement the hearty meals with beer, wine, soft drinks and spirits.

For club meetings, a special birthday, anniversary, conference or get-together, the Commercial Hotel offers a range of function possibilities. We even host small conferences.

Formal sit-down dinners cater for up to 50 people with two or three courses. Quality finger food is available for as little at $12 a head, or you can have an informal barbecue in the courtyard.

We can provide a drinks package for your group or guests can buy their own from the bar.

Tea house set in rolling countryside, offering relaxed meals with a subtle Nepalese flavour as well as traditional light meals, desserts and cakes. The Nepalese influence comes from the charming owner's years spent in Kathmandu at the British Embassy. Try the mulligatawny soup ($6.50), chicken curry ($10.50) or traditional ploughman's lunch ($10.50).
