The Commercial Hotel's Restaurant was
originally built in 1868. Two dining rooms offer privacy for small functions
and are warmed by open log fires in winter. A third room seats up to
eight.
Choose from a dozen excellent local red and white wines on the select
wine list, from six beers on tap and a large variety of bottled beer,
soft drinks and spirits. |

Our 1868 Restaurant, housed in
the hotel extensions of 1868, is open Friday and Saturday evenings for
dinner, and
for groups and functions by appointment.
Dining is informal and
relaxed.
The menu (click for sample) features
fresh local produce and changes daily and seasonally, offering
innovative, quality, healthy meals. Nearly all our food is fresh and
prepared by our chefs, and we often make our own bread, pasta and
ice-cream. We do not serve frozen 'pub grub'. Vegetarian meals
are available.
Children's meals are available
and for groups, we can feed the children early in the breakfast room. Guests can sit and relax on comfortable couches before and after their meals.
As we may be booked out and good dining options nearby
are few, we recommend prior booking.

We are open for Summer Brunch on Friday,
Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 10.30 am, serving late breakfasts or
light lunches. Try the eggs benedict, fluffy scrambled eggs with
smoked salmon and caviar, tuna salad, tomato and zucchini bake and

For club meetings, a special birthday, anniversary,
conference or
get-together, the Commercial Hotel offers a range of function
possibilities. We even host small conferences.
Formal sit-down dinners cater for up to 50 people with two
or three courses. Quality finger food is available for as little at $12 a
head, or you can have an informal with a barbecue in the
courtyard.
We can provide a drinks package for your
group or guests can buy their own from the bar.
If your guests are staying
overnight or you want to avoid the Police RBTs, the Commercial Hotel is the
only venue in Harden-Murrumburrah that combines meals and accommodation.

Table d'hotes meals are normally available for
hotel guests daily, and meals in the bar Tuesday to Sunday. Steak, lamb cutlets, pasta and a dessert
or two are staples. The range is wider on
Friday and Saturday. Vegetarian and special meals are available on request.
